Vintage Railroad Clamp-On Stop Sign

A wonderful stop sign from the New York Central Railroad, that would be clamped to an out of service or maintenance section of the track. The scissor style clamp opens wide enough to fit over the rail track, with a steel ring to keep it secure. This would look great on a wall or shelf. The simplicity of type and the lovely blue colour was what attracted me, in in an upstate estate sale. 56" High, 14" Wide (at flag), 0.2" Deep, 8.5lbs
